Huron Safety - Connect Associated IRB Protocols

Identify Associated IRB Title and Study Number

1. Navigate to the IRB tab in the top navigator, and Submissions in the sub-navigator.
2. Find the Active studies tab and select the related study.
3. Make sure the study is in an active review status (Pre-Approved through Approved). The study cannot be lapsed.
4. Copy the study number and title.

Identify IBC Submission

1. Navigate to the Safety tab in the top navigator, and Submissions in the sub-navigator.
2. Click on the Active studies tab and select the related study.
3. Select Manage Related IRB Studies in the left navigator.

Edit Related IRB Protocol

1. Study ID (required): Enter the related IRB study number copied from the IRB study.
2. Enter the related IRB title copied from the related IRB study. This field is not required.
3. Short title (required): Enter the short title. The short title should match the full title — copy and paste the title from the related IRB study into this field.
4. Fields 4–8 are not required; leave them blank.
5. Click OK.
