CITI RCR Access Instructions

Navigating CITI complete Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training requirements:

• Log on to http://go.osu.edu/citi with your Ohio State Username (lastname.#) and password.
• Click on Log in thorough my organization. (This may prompt you to update your profile.)
• From the Main Menu make sure your account is affiliated with Ohio State University, then continue to SSO login.
  • If you are an existing CITI user: log in using Ohio State University SSO, click on Show Courses for The Ohio State University, Institutional List. (To find your organization enter Ohio State University.)
  • If you are a new CITI user: it will prompt you to register and will take you directly to Select Curriculum page.
• Click on Add a course or Select Curriculum
• For Question 1, scroll down and choose the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR).
• Scroll down to Question 2. Choose the RCR Version Selection that is the most appropriate discipline-specific course offered.
• Click Submit to add the course(s).
• You should now be enrolled in the course selected.

Modules

You must complete all Elective Modules listed for your discipline-specific course. Any other Supplemental Modules offered are recommended, but not required. If you select more than one discipline, CITI will combine all the unique modules for each of the disciplines into a specific course for you.

The Human Subjects Protection and the Good Clinical Practice courses are different from the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) course. 

Course Completion

Course completion will be registered electronically with the university. You may also find your completion information under Profile.
